Beschrijving
Ligny est un petit village appartenant à la commune de Sombreffe dans la province de Namur. Ce village est connu grâce à la Bataille de Ligny qui se tint deux jours à peine avant celle de Waterloo. Durant cette bataille, 90.000 Prussiens s'opposèrent à 65.000 Français. Autant dire qu'il s'agit d'un haut-lieu pour les amateurs d'histoire.
